How to deal with the Blame - Game?

Does blaming others make you feel good?
Does blaming the person in front, make you feel lighter and off the responsibility?
Then STOP ! Coz Blaming others is one of the major reasons for weakening of relationships!
Whenever there is a argument, conflict , fight, discomfort in an relationship,
The question arises- who will take the responsibility for the crisis?
Then we try to run away from taking the responsibility or we feel burdened with the load then the best way possible seems is to blame others and make them responsible for the problem , make them handle it , make them solve it, let them do all the hard work , and we tend to raise our hands up in the air making them the scapegoats and feel lighter towards ourselves..!
And then instead of solving the conflict, addressing the situation, we find it easier to blame others..
We never acknowledge our responsibilities,
this is the point where relationships begin to break or cracks develop..
In such situation one person keeps on blaming and the other one either ignores or keeps quiet or fights back.. leading to violence or tolerance..
If you want to have healthy relationships then one has to work on this..
There are various techniques which I personally feel, can help an individual to free himself of this blame game ..-
1. First , take responsibility of your words, responsibility of your actions.. that gives you power and control over the situation..
2. Note down.. throughout the day how many times are you blaming other people for your discomfort.. be it your husband or wife , girlfriend or boyfriend , your mom dad , your children, your maid , watchman etc..
3. Define your role in the situation.. and workout towards the solution of the problem than the person..
4. Think over, where was your own mistake ,
Perceive other person/ partner as a child who is learning..
Try to become empathetic, don't lose your mind for a moment.. nor should you hold grudge for long periods of time..
Learn to forgive and forget..
Look at their good points..
5. Sometimes things are meant to happen.. accept them n move forward ..
Not everything, everyone can be perfect everytime..!
